Casting technology usually includes: casting process can be divided into three basic parts, namely, casting metal preparation, mold preparation and casting treatment. Cast metal refers to the metal material used to cast castings in the casting production. It is an alloy composed of a metal element, which is composed of other metal or non metal elements.
It is used as a cast alloy, mainly cast iron, cast steel and cast nonferrous alloy.
(1) casting (making liquid metal as a container for solid castings), the mold can be divided into sand, metal, ceramic, mud, graphite and so on. According to the use times, it can be divided into one time, semi permanent and permanent type. The quality of casting preparation is the main factor affecting the quality of the castings; the melting and casting of casting metal and the main casting metal (cast alloy) are the main factors. There should be cast iron, cast steel and cast nonferrous alloy; (3) casting treatment and inspection, castings are treated with scavenging core and surface foreign body of castings, excision pouring and riser, spade burr and slit, as well as heat treatment, plastic, rust prevention and rough processing. Metal smelting is not only pure melting, but also smelting process, making casting metal in place, in terms of temperature, chemical composition and purity are in line with the desired requirements. Therefore, during the smelting process, various inspection tests should be carried out for the purpose of controlling the quality. Liquid metal can be poured after reaching all the required indicators.
